Our new puppy!

Well we decided to get a puppy. Mason really loves animals so we got a cocker/ papallion . She is mixed with a very small breed of dog so she is very small. Currently she is 14 weeks old and very good. She does have a tendency to chew up things, but she is just a puppy.

Mason started school!!!

Well I can't believe it but my baby boy started school. He is going to preschool at the local city schools. He attends monday thru Friday from 1-4pm. He gets to ride the school bus to school, and still gets excited every time he gets on it! He has already learned so much! Our little baby boy is growing up so so fast!

Vacation to Nelsonville

We had a blast on vacation. We went camping in Nelsonville, Ohio. The campground we stayed at was great & was only about 10 minutes from Brian's dads house. We stayed 8 days and pretty much relaxed the whole time! Here is a picture of our campsite...


We spent a few days hanging out with Brian's best buddy Doug and his daughter. We spent alot of time around the fire while the kids played, and at night time we would go on a ride looking for deer!

We also spent time with our family. Mason had a great time with his grandpa (gee-paw) as he would say! He loved the ride we took in the semi truck and got excited everytime we went over to his house.

Stella Also enjoyed the ride too! She fell asleep as soon as we took off and then woke up as soon as we stopped.


We also visited Brian's Aunt Mary and had dinner at her house. Mason really took up with her and we all had a great time! (Thanks again Mary)

We really had a great time as you can see from these pictures and can't wait to go back again!

Vacation!!!

Well we are finally going on a family vacation. We cannot afford to go too far, so this time we are heading over to Nelsonville, Ohio to go camping. We are leaving on Saturday morning and can't wait!! Both of us have been counting down the work week all week long, and we are down to one more day of work left!! Hooray for us!!

4th of July

This past weekend we went camping for the first time in our new camper. The kids did great and we had a great time! We saw the fireworks in Wilmington which were the best fireworks we had ever seen. Mason had fun playing with squirt guns and sitting around the fire. Hope everyone else had a great fourth of July weekend like we did!

~Weekend Fun~

This weekend we headed over to Nelsonville, Ohio to go to our family reunion. We really had a great time. Mason and Stella got to see their grandpa, whom they have really missed. We had such a good time getting to know all of our family at the reunion. Can't wait to get back over there to see them again!

Mason's 3rd Birthday was a blast. We took him to the zoo. He had a great time seeing all the animals. It was extremely hot, but very fun. We also bought him his first car. A Ford F-150 power wheel truck! He loves it and is starting to get the hang of driving it!

It's been TOO long!!

It has been a long time since I have updated on here. Life has been great but also hectic! Stella Marie Lyons was born March 19th, 2008, she weighed 6lbs 6oz, 19 in long. The delivery went great, and we are all in love with our little girl!!

Stella is now almost 3 months old! I cant believe how time goes by so fast!! Mason will be 3 this sunday (6-15-08) on Father's Day! We will be taking him to the zoo to celebrate, and we are going to buy a power wheel for him. Not sure who is excited more about that, Brian or Mason! lol

I will try to get this updated more, so you can watch our babies grow with us!

37weeks 2 days!

OK, well I went to the doctor today at 37 weeks 2 days, and didnt get the exciting news I was hoping for! I am 1cm and a little thinned out. Other than that nothing!!! We was hoping that he would set an induction date, but no luck there! We just want her to get here soon, so Brian can get a day off work, after working a month straight, and before I have to start my college course back again!

We went to the hospital today to check her movement because I hadn't felt her all day today, and she looked great. Hopefully she will decide to come out soon!!!

Doctor Appointment @ 35 weeks 5 days

Well I went to the doctor today. Only about 4 weeks left till our baby girl arrives. They checked her heartbeat and while checking it we all noticed that her heart was beating different. The doctor came back in and told me that he had heard something adnormal with her heartbeat, but not to get too stressed out about it, because it can go away after birth. He said he wrote it in our chart and they will keep a close eye on it, since it can turn out to be something serious. Please keep our baby girl in your thoughts and hope for a happy healthy baby in a few weeks. They also told me that I might have to have a c section, I will find out here in a few weeks. My next appointment is Thursday next week, I will be 36 weeks and 6 days....so almost 37 weeks!!!! I am so ready to meet her!

Doctor Appointment

Well I went to the doctor yesterday. I only gained 1 lb, which brings my total to only 15 lbs so far! (Way better than the 60lbs I gained with Mason!!) They are a little concerned about the problems I have been having with the throbbing behind my eyes and the swelling of my hands and legs. They sent me to have some bloodwork done because my blood pressure was up and they think that all these symptoms might be the start of Preeclampsia. This is the condition that I had during Mason's pregnancy also, which is the reason I delivered him 2 weeks early. I now go to the Doctor every week so they can keep a close eye on my blood pressure. My next appointment is Wed. the 20th. I will keep you all updated!!

Just wanted to share some pictures of our work in progress of our "nursery". Because we have a 2 bedroom house we will be sharing our room with her until she is old enough to share a room with Mason.
