Trip to the Mall

Today we took a trip to the local mall...This is what we accomplished!

Now she has her ears pierced! Too cute!

So we just got a new camera yesterday, and we have quickly discovered that Stella is a little model. Every time we go to take her picture she gets this cute little grin on her face and wrinkles up her nose! She is too cute!

Potty = Train place

Mason's favorite things are trains, any kind of trains! When we started potty training him we told him that if he filled his chart with "stars" everytime he went to the potty then his reward would be to go to the local train attraction.

This place is awesome. It is the largest indoor train display in the United States....he loves it. They also have many Thomas and Friends activities and a huge playroom for the kids to play in for hours!

Guess what Mason filled up his potty chart, so here was his reward!

Ps. Stella loves it too!

Baby...It's cold outside!!

This time last year we had to carry Mason everywhere because he really didn't like snow. I guess he has now had a change of heart! Here is him playing with his cousin Sami...

Splish Splash.....taking a bath!

Now that Stella is older she gets to spend more time with her bubby! She especially loves the fun times that they have in the bath tub. One thing that she doesnt like is when her brother insists on pouring water on her head!!

Sleepy heads!

Our kids are definately the best things that have ever happen to us. They bring so many good & fun times and truly just light up our lives! Even though they are so adorable some of the best times are when they are sleeping. They just look so innocent...like sleeping angels! What do you think?

Be greatful!

Sometimes it might take a time like a world in turmoil, and an economic crisis....to stop and think what you are truly greatful for! In these hard times it is hard not to stress about paying the bills, wondering if you are going to have a job tomorrow, and wondering if you are going to have money for diapers this week. We should all sit down and think.......

The Holidays!

Wow! The holiday season went so fast, that here is are already in January. Things are our house have been hectic, but we are finding a way to get through it! Christmas was great this year. Mason is now at the age where he enjoyed opening every gift! Stella would sit and watch him and try to tear the paper off. Once she got a piece tore off it went straight to her mouth! hehe

Been too long!

WOW! It has been months since I have been on here! Life here at the Lyon's house has been very busy! With Mason is school, Stella Crawling all over the house, Brian working and my working and schooling. Life is busy!
Everything is going good. Mason is enjoying school but it ready for the Christmas break! He is talking alot better and is a happy little boy! He has got to see Santa Clause 2 times this year and sat on his lap. He told him that he wanted a train.
Stella is doing great also. She will be 9 months old this Friday! (Dec 19th) I cant believe how fast she is growing. As I said before she is crawling all over the house. She tries to pull up and stand holding onto the couch! She is also eating crackers and loves spagetti! hehe

Life here is great and we miss all you family that we dont get to see very often! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!

Labor Day cookout

Just a little added bonus......

Our new puppy!

Well we decided to get a puppy. Mason really loves animals so we got a cocker/ papallion . She is mixed with a very small breed of dog so she is very small. Currently she is 14 weeks old and very good. She does have a tendency to chew up things, but she is just a puppy.

Mason started school!!!

Well I can't believe it but my baby boy started school. He is going to preschool at the local city schools. He attends monday thru Friday from 1-4pm. He gets to ride the school bus to school, and still gets excited every time he gets on it! He has already learned so much! Our little baby boy is growing up so so fast!
